Read full description of the books:
Jack Gunthridge is known for his books. What his fans don't know is that he grew up not realizing he had a high functioning form of autism known as Asperger's Syndrome.
This is a collection of his memories of trying to figure out members of the opposite sex while having a condition that made it harder for him to interact in social situations. Sometimes his awkwardness caused him to be the target of bullies.
He offers his opinion and advice on how he dealt with these issues. He's hoping it helps other teenagers going through similar situations. He also talks about how he came to terms with his own autism diagnosis.

Read information about the authorTechnically I am an internationally award winning filmmaker. I became an author when I turned one of my screenplays into a novel. I don't really make a distinction between my film work and my written works. It's the 21st century. Everything is a text and a way of telling a story. It doesn't matter to me if the words I write are never seen by an audience the way they are in my films, or if they are read by an audience and never seen on screen. The distinctions only matter to those who like to label people.
I define myself as a writer, director, producer, and star because I write, direct, produce, and star in my works. I generally tend to do comedy or romantic comedy. I would say that I am a comedian. My works have a romantic element to them, but I'm funnier than a typical romantic comedy. Come to think about it, I am more romantic than a typical comedy.
How about we just agree to not reallly define me by the terms that we typically know? I mean, my last film won Best Experimental at a film festival in Mumbai, India. It was a modern day retelling of Beauty and the Beast. I based it largely on my own life. In fact, it was the most autobiographical piece I have ever done.
I don't think it is a good thing when a movie about your love life is deemed the best experimental film at a festival. It wasn't even anything unusual. It was your typical boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl in the end love story. It's not like we haven't see that before. Of course, if any body wants to credit me with that, I will gladly accept it.
